EN500 Evaluation Unit
The EN500-EVAL evaluation unit provides engineers with a clear view of how ExDirect enclosures and corresponding accessories can streamline design efforts and lower overall costs.
This evaluation kit features our mid-sized Hawk EN500-PL-W instrument housing in polycarbonate plastic, a plastic display housing, a plastic base housing, and our custom packaging solutions, which consist of a robust corrugated box and an air cushion sheet.
Together, all of these components provide OEMs with a seamless, fully integrated instrument housing solution that enhances the appearance and value of their products.
Enclosure
Includes an aluminum EN500 plastic enclosure with a window cover.
PCB Housings
Includes a display and base housing that hold PCBs or other components.
Packaging
Includes ExDirect packaging solutions that ensure safe storage and transit.

Enclosure
The Hawk EN500-PL-W-07-GY plastic instrument enclosure comes with a window cover, one 3/4" top/bottom conduit, and two 3/4" side conduits.
Display Housing
The EA500-DisplayHousing1 accommodates a display PCB and one additional PCB, and easily mounts to the Hawk enclosure's built-in rails.
Base Housing
The EA500-BaseHousing3 accommodates additional components like relays on the base of the Hawk enclosure.
Rail Caps & Screws
The EA500-RailCaps and EA500-RailScrews make it easy to attach and remove our display housings without additional hardware.
Air Cushion Sheet
The EP500-ACS offers a sustainable packing option designed for the Hawk enclosure and box.
