Nameplates are available in aluminum or stainless steel and can be installed on the nameplate galleries of aluminum and stainless steel enclosures. Screws (EA-PLATESCREWS) to attach the nameplate to an enclosure are sold separately.

Factory Attached Nameplate

All ExDirect agency approved enclosures are shipped with an aluminum nameplate (for aluminum enclosures) or a stainless steel nameplate (for stainless steel enclosures) that specifies the approvals granted for the enclosure and other information. This nameplate is attached to one of the two nameplate galleries. The other gallery has no factory installed nameplate.

IMPORTANT: Customer may do one of the following with the attached nameplate:

1. Keep. Agency approvals apply to enclosure only.

2. Remove. Enclosure is no longer agency approved.

3. Replace. Add customer's own with full product agency approvals.
