EX700-AL-S
Condor Aluminum Solid
The EX700-AL-S family of Condor explosion-proof instrument enclosures have a solid cover and are made of aluminum. They are available with four conduit connections of 3/4". They are easily secured to walls and pipes via the cast-in flanges (with mounting holes) and a slotted back makes it easy to center the enclosure on the pipe. Four internal cast rails with drilled and tapped holes make it easy to mount electronics up against the cover. There are also four drilled and tapped holes in the base of the enclosure for mounting a PCB or other components. The enclosures have provisions for attaching a tag as well as making the cover tamper-proof. Like all ExDirect aluminum and stainless steel flame-proof instrument housings, the EX700-AL-S family of Condor enclosures carry UL, CSA, ATEX, and IECEx approvals.

Key Features
PCB Mounting
Four drilled and tapped internal mounting holes and four cast-in rails are available inside the enclosure for easy mounting of a PCB or other components.
Tamper Seal
Tamper-proofing is achieved by inserting a wire through the cast-in loop on the base of the enclosure and a hole in the lid of the enclosure and securing this wire with a lead seal.
Pipe/Wall Mounting
The built-in mounting flanges allow easy mounting to walls or pipes. A slotted back makes it easy to center the enclosure on a pipe.
Cast-in Loop
Attach a stainless steel tag to the enclosure through the cast-in loop located on the base of the enclosure.
